Are cryptos really currencies?

Well lmost all crypto projects dream of being accepted as currencies among the general public. That was also the goal of Bitcoin, which wanted to revolutionize the financial world. It is now 11.5 years after the Bitcoin market start and Bitcoin is still far from being a currency because only less than 2% of the world's population own Bitcoin. This is even less with the other cryptos.

Why are cryptos still not really currencies ?

The following circumstances lead to a low level of crypto acceptance by broad mass of the population

  • Complexity: Most People don't understand the cryptos because they are not familiar with the financial world and technology.

  • Bad image: Crypros open up opportunities for the criminal scene, e.g. for Money laundering, drug trafficking, tax evasion.

  • Great volatility: Only a few merchants want to sell their goods for a currency that can lose up to 90% and more in value.

How can people be given easier access to understand the cryptos ?

The crypto projects also have to do marketing and offer an advantage that EVERYONE recognizes and not just those with knowledge of the stock markets, financial world and technology. Because marketing does nothing else than bringing people closer to the benefits of products. No matter whether the products are complex or simple.

Another example: XTZ attracts meny people over the 5% interest distributions. Third example of how to reach masses is a new project that already inspired over 9 million people to date and a large number of new people are added every day, who previously had nothing to do with cryptos. The reason for this is that everyone who takes part has no costs, but a great advantage. Such enthusiasm has never triggered crypto before. Read more here.
